The mindset
Families, family offices and advisors will use Estorios without knowing how it was built. Two rules and seven stances decide every screen, so they never need to. Complexity is handled by the platform. It is never passed on to the family.
People, trusts and companies, with dated links between them. No part of the platform keeps its own copy of who owns what. Every figure reads the map as of the date that matters, and a change on the map reaches every figure at once.
Wherever a figure comes from a reading, a suggestion or a default, the screen says so beside the figure, and it stays provisional until someone confirms it. Nothing that spends money, changes a record, files, or contacts anyone outside happens without asking first, and every such action is recorded.
Seven stances
The reading is a proposal. The correction is a judgement, stored as one, and it has to survive: when the paper is read again and the model disagrees, the disagreement goes to a person, never over them.
Amortisation, rent schedules, tax, liquidity, distributions and votes are computed by code with tests, not generated. AI reads the paper; arithmetic does the arithmetic.
A board book is a frozen, approved version. The figure quoted in the meeting is the figure the run was built from, permanently.
Every screen starts from the records the platform already holds. Nothing about one household is built into it.
A sensible, clearly labelled default a person may adjust, rather than a form a person must fill in. Optional detail waits behind a link.
What something means and what happens next, with the term of art beside the plain words. Every empty state says what will fill it. Every error says what to do.
Anything with a cost or a consequence says so before it happens and is logged after. When the platform estimates or assumes, it says so where the figure is shown.
